Naritasan

Naritasan, officially known as Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, is a large Buddhist temple located in Narita, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the most famous and important temples in the Kanto region and a significant pilgrimage site. The temple grounds are extensive and feature a variety of buildings, including the main hall, a five-story pagoda, and numerous smaller shrines.

Founded in 940 AD, Naritasan has a long and rich history. It is associated with the Shingon school of Buddhism, and its primary deity is Fudomyoo, the wrathful manifestation of Acala. The temple gained prominence during the Edo period, and its popularity continues to this day, attracting millions of visitors annually.
