Nakazy

Nakazy, plural of the Polish noun nakaz, are formal commands issued by authorities that bind recipients to perform or refrain from specific actions. The term is used across legal, administrative, and organizational contexts to denote binding directives backed by enforceable authority.

In legal contexts, nakazy include court-ordered instruments such as nakaz zapłaty (a payment order) issued in simplified civil procedures, nakaz doprowadzenia (order to bring a person before the court), nakaz aresztowania (arrest warrant), and nakaz przeszukania (search warrant). These instruments are issued by courts, prosecutors, or other competent authorities and are enforceable by law; noncompliance can lead to coercive measures.

In administrative contexts, nakazy may be directives issued by government agencies, regulatory bodies, or employers. They authorize or require action, such as compliance with safety regulations, implementation of policy measures, or conduct requirements within an organization.
