NFATc5

NFATc5, also known as Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells cytoplasmic 5, is a transcription factor that plays a role in the regulation of gene expression. It belongs to the NFAT family of proteins, which are characterized by their Rel homology domain. NFATc5 is expressed in a wide variety of tissues and cell types, including immune cells, neurons, and epithelial cells.

The activity of NFATc5 is tightly regulated by a variety of signaling pathways, including calcium signaling and protein kinase C.
