NEaNTean
NEaNTean is a term used to describe a person who is neither male nor female, often used as an alternative to the term "non-binary". The term "NEaNTean" was coined by the author and activist Janet Mock in her 1999 book "Gender Queer: Beyond Sex and Sexuality". The term is intended to be inclusive and non-exclusive, and can be used by anyone who does not identify with traditional gender categories. NEaNTean is often used as a way to describe a person's gender identity, rather than their sexual orientation. The term is not widely used, and may not be recognized by all, but it is an important part of the broader conversation around gender identity and expression.
