Näyttömatriisin
Näyttömatriisi, often translated as display matrix or screen matrix, refers to the fundamental structure of a digital display. It is a grid of individual picture elements, known as pixels, arranged in rows and columns. Each pixel in the matrix is capable of displaying a specific color and brightness. The total number of pixels determines the display's resolution, which is typically expressed as width x height (e.g., 1920x1080). The arrangement of these pixels allows for the creation of images and text by precisely controlling the state of each individual element. Different display technologies, such as LCD, LED, and OLED, utilize various methods to illuminate and control the pixels within their respective matrices, but the underlying principle of a grid-based structure remains consistent. The quality and clarity of the displayed image are directly influenced by the density and uniformity of the pixels within the näyttömatriisi.
