Mýrdalsfjörður
Mýrdalsfjörður is a fjord located in the southern part of Iceland. It is situated between the fjords of Skálfandi and Arnarfjörður, and is part of the Westfjords region. The fjord is approximately 20 kilometers long and reaches a maximum width of 5 kilometers. The surrounding landscape is characterized by steep mountains and rugged coastlines, typical of the Westfjords.

Geologically, Mýrdalsfjörður was carved by glaciers during the last ice age. The mountains that flank the fjord
