Myyjiltä
Myyjiltä is a Finnish language form of the noun myyjä (seller). It is the elative plural form, meaning "from the sellers." In Finnish, the elative case expresses source or origin and is often translated as "from" or "out of" in English. Thus myyjiltä literally means "from the sellers" and is used to attribute information, statements, or actions to sellers as a source. For example, the phrase "myyjiltä saatujen tietojen mukaan" translates to "according to information received from the sellers." In practice, myyjiltä appears in journalism, commerce, or everyday speech when referring to information supplied by those who sold goods or services. The form is grammatical and not typically used as a standalone proper noun; it functions inside larger noun phrases. It should not be confused with the nominative plural "myyjät" (sellers) or with other case forms. In Finnish grammar, the elative plural ending is -iltä, which may require phonological adjustment depending on the stem. See also: Finnish language, Finnish grammar, elative case, plural forms.
