Myosiinin

Myosiinin is a hypothetical class of motor proteins proposed in discussions of cytoskeletal dynamics and synthetic biology. Named to evoke myosin-like motor activity with distinct regulatory features, it is not presently recognized as an established protein in standard databases, and there is no widely accepted experimental evidence for its existence.

In theoretical models, Myosiinin would combine an actin-activated ATPase motor domain with a lever arm and a distinctive regulatory tail that mediates dimerization and cargo binding. It is proposed to move along actin filaments and generate force, with activity regulated by phosphorylation, calcium signals, and adaptor proteins.
