Myanmarerne refers to the people of Myanmar, also known as Burma. Myanmar is a sovereign state in Southeast Asia. The country is incredibly diverse, with over 135 officially recognized ethnic groups. The largest and most dominant ethnic group is the Bamar, who historically gave the country its anglicized name "Burma."
