Mveletei

Mveletei is a fictional term used in worldbuilding and speculative linguistics to describe a combined ceremonial practice and a linguistic phenomenon within a constructed culture. In the in-world setting, mveletei denotes both a ritual of communal memory sharing performed at seasonal festivals and a corresponding morphophonological pattern in the community's language.

The ritual aspect centers on cyclical recitation of genealogies, laws, and local histories, often accompanied by song and call-and-response. Participants form a circle, gestures accompany the chant, and memory is codified into social bonds.
