Murring

Murring is a dialect of the Aboriginal Australian language group, traditionally spoken by the Un庄A_language to people of the Dharug language family in the Sydney region and surrounding areas of New South Wales, Australia. The language is now considered extinct, with the last native speaker of the language passing away in the late 19th century.

Historically, the Murring language was spoken by the Un庄A_language people in the Sydney Basin and was considered one of the most important languages of the region. The language was used for everyday communication, storytelling, and ceremonial purposes. Murring was also used in trade and other forms of interaction between Aboriginal groups.
