Multitagging

Best practices involve governance and curation: using a controlled vocabulary or taxonomy where appropriate, defining synonyms and disambiguation rules, standardizing formatting, and periodically pruning unused or conflicting tags. Interface design can aid quality through autocomplete, tag suggestions, and validation against an allowed list. In data science, multitagging relates to multi-label classification, where models assign several labels to items; evaluation relies on metrics like precision, recall, and F1 across labels.
