Code Division Multiplexing (CDM) is a form of multiplexing used in spread spectrum communication systems. In CDM, each signal or data stream is assigned a unique code, and the signals are transmitted simultaneously over the same channel. The receiver uses the code to extract the desired signal from the combined signal.
