Muistijärjestykset
Muistijärjestykset, known in English as memory palaces or method of loci, is a mnemonic technique that uses visualization of familiar spatial environments to recall information. This ancient memory aid involves mentally associating specific pieces of information with locations along a familiar route or within a well-known place, such as a house or a street. The individual first creates a vivid mental map of the chosen location and then places abstract ideas or facts as objects or images at distinct points within this mental landscape.
To recall the information, the user mentally walks through their memory palace, observing the placed items.
