Moët

Moët & Chandon, commonly referred to as Moët, is a French champagne house headquartered in Épernay in the Champagne region. It is one of the best-known champagne brands in the world and a core brand of LVMH, the multinational luxury goods group.

Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët in Épernay, the house grew through the 18th and 19th centuries under successive generations, expanding its export reach across Europe and into Russia. The Moët & Chandon name reflects the collaboration with the Chandon family that formed the company in the 19th century. In the late 20th century, Moët & Chandon became part of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy).

The house makes a range of champagnes using the traditional method. Its non-vintage brut is the signature style, typically assembled from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier from vineyards across the Champagne region. The range also includes Rosé Impérial, Nectar Impérial, and vintage and prestige cuvées. Dom Pérignon is Moët & Chandon’s prestige cuvée, produced in vintage years.
