Moomin

Moomin is a family of white, roundish creatures created by Finnish-Swedish author Tove Jansson. They live in Moominvalley, a peaceful valley inhabited by various creatures, and appear in books, a long-running comic strip, and later television series and films. The Moomins first appeared in The Moomins and the Great Flood (1945), followed by Comet in Moominland (1946), Finn Family Moomintroll (1948), and The Exploits of Moomin Troll (1950). The stories center on Moomintroll and his family as they explore friendship, home, and curiosity, balancing whimsy with philosophical reflections. Recurring themes include the security of home, the unpredictability of change, and a close relationship with nature.

Main characters include Moomintroll, Moominmamma, Moominpappa, Snork Maiden, Snufkin, Little My, Hemulen, and the Groke, among
