Mobiilirobotteja
Mobiilirobotteja, or mobile robots, are autonomous machines designed to perform tasks in various environments. They are categorized into several types based on their mobility and functionality. Wheeled robots, such as vacuum cleaners and delivery bots, use wheels for movement and are commonly found in homes and offices. Legged robots, like the Boston Dynamics Spot, mimic human or animal locomotion and are used in rough terrains and rescue operations. Tracked robots, such as the Mars rovers, use continuous tracks for movement and are employed in environments with challenging terrain. Flying robots, or drones, use propellers or rotors for aerial movement and are utilized in surveillance, delivery, and photography. Aquatic robots, like the Bluefin-21, operate underwater and are used for ocean exploration and underwater inspections. Each type of mobile robot is designed to meet specific operational requirements and environmental constraints. Advances in artificial intelligence, sensor technology, and materials science continue to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of mobile robots across various industries.
