Mködéskor

Működéskor is a Hungarian term meaning “during operation” or “at the time of operation.” It is formed from the noun működés (operation, functioning) and the suffix -kor, which marks the time at which something occurs. The non-diacritic variant Mködéskor may appear in texts where diacritics are not used.

In technical and academic contexts, the term denotes the period when a device, system, or process is actively functioning, and conditions, parameters, or events measured or observed during that time. It is commonly found in manuals, safety guidelines, quality records, and engineering reports. Depending on the style, it can be used interchangeably with the expression működés közben, although some writers prefer the more explicit phrase.

Usage examples illustrate its meaning: “A motor működéskor a hőmérsékletet figyelik.”; “A rendszer működéskor rögzített értékek alapján végzik a kiértékelést.” These phrases distinguish observations made during operation from those at startup (indításkor) or shutdown (leállításkor).
