Metyylimetakrylaattiyksiköiden is the Finnish term for methyl methacrylate units. These units are the repeating structural components found in the polymer known as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). PMMA is a transparent thermoplastic commonly referred to as acrylic glass, Plexiglas, or Lucite.
