Metakrilikderived

Metakrilikderived refers to compounds that are synthesized from or based upon methacrylic acid or its esters. Methacrylic acid is an organic compound with the formula CH2=C(CH3)COOH. It is a carboxylic acid and a derivative of acrylic acid, distinguished by a methyl group attached to the double bond.

The primary applications of metakrilikderived compounds stem from their ability to polymerize. When these monomers undergo polymerization, they form polymethacrylates, a class of polymers known for their transparency, rigidity, and weather resistance.
