Mesoporositet
Mesoporositet refers to the presence of pores within a material that have a diameter in the mesoporous range, typically between 2 and 50 nanometers. These pores are larger than micropores (less than 2 nm) and smaller than macropores (greater than 50 nm). Materials exhibiting mesoporosity are often referred to as mesoporous materials.
The unique pore size distribution of mesoporous materials makes them highly attractive for a variety of applications,
Common examples of mesoporous materials include mesoporous silica, such as MCM-41 and SBA-15, which are synthesized
