Mentação
Mentação is a term used in Brazilian Portuguese to describe the act of breastfeeding. It encompasses the entire process of providing milk from a mother to her infant, including the physical act of nursing, the establishment of milk production, and the nutritional and emotional benefits for both mother and child. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of a baby's life, followed by continued breastfeeding alongside complementary foods for up to two years or beyond.
