Meløy

Meløy is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the Helgeland coast, north of the Arctic Circle. The municipality covers an area of 879 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 13,000 people. The administrative center of Meløy is the village of Ørnes.
