MediaCityUK

MediaCityUK is a 200-acre mixed-use development located on the Salford Quays in Salford, Greater Manchester, England. It is situated on the former site of the Manchester Ship Canal and is a significant hub for media and digital industries. The development is a joint venture between Peel Group and the local authorities of Salford and Trafford.

Construction of MediaCityUK began in 2007, with the first tenants moving in in 2011. The site is home to the BBC's North West England headquarters, as well as ITV's Granada Television studios. Other major media organizations with a presence include Ericsson, Huawei, and The Hut Group. The development also features a range of residential apartments, hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets, creating a vibrant urban environment.
