McMaster
McMaster most commonly refers to McMaster University, a public research university in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1887 by the Presbyterian Church in Canada and named for William McMaster, a Canadian merchant and philanthropist who funded its establishment, the university began as a religiously affiliated institution and later adopted a secular governance model.
