Matkaviestintäverkot
Matkaviestintäverkot, also known as mobile communication networks or cellular networks, are the backbone of wireless communication for mobile devices. These networks allow phones, tablets, and other devices to connect to each other and to the wider internet without physical cables. The fundamental principle behind these networks is cell division, where a geographic area is divided into smaller regions called cells. Each cell is served by a base station, which is a low-power radio transceiver.
When a mobile device needs to communicate, it connects to the base station in its current cell.
Matkaviestintäverkot have evolved through several generations, each offering improvements in speed, capacity, and capabilities. Early generations
