Matemaattisille
Matemaattisille is the allative plural form of the Finnish adjective matemaattinen, meaning “mathematical.” In Finnish, adjectives agree with the nouns they modify in number and case. The allative case, marked by the suffix -lle, expresses direction toward or the intended audience. Therefore matemaattisille is used when the noun it describes is plural and in the allative; for example, matemaattisille tutkijoille means “to mathematical researchers,” and matemaattisille opiskelijoille means “for mathematical students.”
Usage notes: As with other adjectives, matemaattisille cannot stand alone; it appears before the noun it modifies
