Matalalämpöiset is a Finnish term that translates to "low-temperature" in English. It is most commonly used in the context of heating systems and building technology to describe methods or materials that operate or are effective at temperatures significantly below those of traditional high-temperature heating.

Low-temperature heating systems typically operate with water temperatures between 30°C and 50°C. This contrasts with conventional radiators which might operate at 70°C or higher. Such systems include underfloor heating, wall heating, and low-temperature radiators. These systems are known for their efficiency and comfort.

The primary advantage of matalalämpöiset systems is their energy efficiency. When combined with low-temperature heat sources like heat pumps, solar thermal collectors, or condensing boilers, they can significantly reduce energy consumption and associated carbon emissions.
