Marxhagyományok
Marxhagyományok is a term used to describe the Marxist tradition and its development within Hungarian-speaking contexts. It denotes a family of doctrines, theories, and political practices rooted in Karl Marx’s writings and expanded by later thinkers and movements. The tradition encompasses historical materialism, class analysis, and critique of capitalist social relations, as well as various branches such as Western Marxism, Orthodox Marxism, and analytical Marxism.
In Hungary, the Marxist tradition has influenced philosophy, politics, and social theory since the 19th century.
In contemporary scholarship, Marxhagyományok is studied as a framework for understanding capitalism, social change, and emancipation.
