Mariette

Auguste Édouard Mariette (1821–1881) was a French archaeologist who directed major excavations in Egypt. He founded the Service des Antiquités de l'Égypte and contributed to the establishment of the national collection and museum presence in Cairo, notably through discoveries at Saqqara, including the Serapeum.

Mariette Hartley (born 1930) is an American actress with a career in stage, film, and television. She gained visibility in the 1970s and is known for a series of prominent Polaroid television commercials. Her work spans multiple media and genres, making her one of the more recognizable bearers of the name in contemporary popular culture.
