Maresfield is a village and civil parish in the Wealden District of East Sussex, England. It is located approximately 4 miles north of the town of Uckfield. The parish is situated within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, known for its rolling hills and agricultural landscape. Maresfield village itself is characterized by a mix of historical and modern buildings, centered around a village green and St. Bartholomew's Church.

The history of Maresfield can be traced back to the Domesday Book of 1086, where it is recorded as a manor. The area has a history of ironworking, a common industry in the Weald during Roman and medieval times. In more recent centuries, it has developed as a rural community with some commuter presence due to its proximity to larger towns and London.
