Marahoué

Marahoué is a region located in the western part of Ivory Coast. It is one of the country's 14 administrative regions, established in 2009. The region's administrative capital is Bouaflé. Marahoué is situated within the Denguélé District.

The geography of Marahoué is characterized by a savanna landscape, with some forested areas. The Bandama River, a major river in Ivory Coast, flows through the region. The climate is tropical, with distinct wet and dry seasons. Agriculture is the primary economic activity, with crops such as coffee, cocoa, cotton, and yams being cultivated.
