Mansteins
Mansteins, also known as Manstein's or Manstein's Operation, was a military engagement that took place during the Eastern Front of World War II. It involved German forces, under the command of Field Marshal Erich von Manstein, attempting to relieve the encircled German Sixth Army in the city of Stalingrad. The operation was launched in December 1942, with German forces attacking from the south towards Stalingrad.
