Magadhas
Magadhas refers to a dynasty that ruled in ancient India. The Magadha kingdom was one of the sixteen mahajanapadas, or great kingdoms, that existed in India during the 6th century BCE. The Magadhan empire rose to prominence and eventually became the most powerful kingdom in ancient India. Its strategic location in the Ganges river valley provided fertile land and access to important trade routes.
