MX2

MX2 is a class within the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) used to organize mid-sized motocross competition. It is the secondary class of the series, below the MXGP class, and features riders on 250cc four-stroke motorcycles.

Rules and format: Each Grand Prix event hosts two MX2 motos, and riders accumulate points from each race to determine the event result. The season-long championship is decided by total points across all rounds.
