MWBCs
MWBCs, or Multi-Wire Branch Circuits, are electrical circuits that supply power to multiple outlets or devices. They are commonly used in residential and commercial settings to distribute electricity efficiently. An MWBC consists of two ungrounded (hot) conductors and a neutral conductor, with each hot conductor supplying power to separate circuits. This configuration allows for the use of two 120-volt circuits in a single 240-volt circuit, effectively doubling the available power.
MWBCs are typically used to power devices that do not require continuous power, such as lights, outlets,
MWBCs are installed by licensed electricians and must comply with local electrical codes and regulations. They
