M60
The M60 is a designation used for several American military weapons and vehicles. The two most prominent are the M60 machine gun, a 7.62x51mm NATO general-purpose machine gun introduced in 1957, and the M60 Patton main battle tank, produced from the 1950s onward. The name has also been used for other platforms, including the M60 AVLB, an armored vehicle-launched bridge built on the M60 chassis.
