The M1117 Armored Security Vehicle (ASV) is an internal security vehicle developed by Textron Marine & Land Systems for the United States Army. Designed for convoy escort and homeland security missions, it offers a significant upgrade in protection and firepower compared to lighter vehicles.

The ASV features a V-shaped hull, which is designed to deflect mine blast forces away from the occupants. It is equipped with a remote weapon station that can be armed with a .50 caliber machine gun, a 40mm grenade launcher, or a 7.62mm machine gun. The vehicle also has a crew of three and can carry up to four passengers. Its independent suspension provides good mobility on various terrains, and it is designed to be air-transportable.

First fielded in the early 2000s, the M1117 has seen extensive service in Iraq and Afghanistan, primarily with military police units and for convoy protection.
