Märgisisüsteemid
Märgisisüsteemid, also known as wet systems, are a type of automatic fire sprinkler system where the sprinkler pipes are always filled with water under pressure. When a sprinkler head detects heat and activates, water is immediately discharged through the sprinkler head onto the fire. This direct and rapid water delivery makes märgisisüsteemid highly effective for controlling and suppressing fires in their early stages. They are commonly used in buildings where there is a high risk of fire or where rapid response is critical, such as in warehouses, manufacturing plants, and certain types of residential buildings. The continuous water supply ensures that a fire can be addressed without delay once a sprinkler activates. The main advantage of märgisisüsteemid is their simplicity and reliability, as there are fewer components that can fail compared to other types of sprinkler systems. However, their constant water-filling also means they are susceptible to freezing in unheated environments, which can lead to pipe damage and system failure. Therefore, proper maintenance and consideration of ambient temperatures are crucial for the effective operation of these systems.
