For example, a Black woman might face discrimination not only because she is Black and not only because she is a woman, but due to the specific intersection of these two identities. Her experiences may differ significantly from those of a white woman or a Black man. This framework is crucial for understanding complex social inequalities and for developing more effective strategies for social justice.
