Lämpökuva, also known as thermal imaging or thermography, is a technique used to visualize infrared radiation emitted by objects. This radiation, invisible to the human eye, corresponds to the heat of an object. A thermal imaging camera, or infrared camera, detects this radiation and converts it into a visual image, where different colors represent different temperatures. Typically, warmer objects appear in brighter colors like red or yellow, while cooler objects are depicted in darker shades such as blue or purple.
