Lämpöasettamispinnoitteiden
Lämpöasettamispinnoitteiden, known in English as thermal spray coatings, are a group of industrial coating processes used to apply protective and functional surface layers to various substrates. These processes involve heating a coating material, typically in powder or wire form, to a molten or semi-molten state and then propelling it at high velocity onto the surface to be coated. Upon impact, the molten or semi-molten particles rapidly cool and flatten, forming a dense, layered coating.
The primary methods of thermal spraying include flame spraying, plasma spraying, arc spraying, and high-velocity oxygen
Thermal spray coatings are employed to enhance a substrate's resistance to wear, corrosion, heat, and erosion.
