Lämmitysverkostot
Lämmitysverkostot, also known as heating networks or district heating networks, are a system for distributing thermal energy from a central source to multiple buildings. This central source can be a power plant, industrial facility, or dedicated heating plant, often utilizing biomass, waste heat, or fossil fuels. The heat is transferred to water or steam, which is then circulated through a network of insulated underground pipes to individual consumers.
Upon reaching a building, the hot water or steam passes through a heat exchanger. This device transfers
District heating offers several advantages, including increased energy efficiency due to the centralized production, reduced local
