Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport, also known as Lyon Airport, is an international airport serving Lyon, France. It is located in Colombier-Saugnieu, about 25 kilometers east of Lyon's city center, and is the primary air gateway for the Lyon metropolitan area. The airport bears the name of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the French writer and aviator born in Lyon, commemorating his contributions to aviation and literature. IATA code LYS, ICAO LFLL.

History: The facility opened in 1975 as Lyon-Satolas to replace the older Lyon-Bron Airport. It was renamed Lyon–Saint-Exupéry in 2000. Since its opening, the airport has expanded its terminals and services to accommodate growing traffic and to serve both European and some intercontinental routes. It functions as a major regional hub for leisure and business travel.

Facilities and transport: The airport operates two passenger terminals offering check-in, shops, dining, lounges, and car-rental services. Ground transport includes an express rail link, the Rhônexpress, which connects to Lyon Part-Dieu and the city center, as well as a TGV/rail station providing high-speed connections to Paris and other destinations. Road access is provided via major regional highways, and there are multiple parking options.

Air service: Lyon–Saint-Exupéry hosts a mix of full-service and low-cost airlines serving destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, with seasonal and year-round schedules. It is among France's busiest airports outside the Paris region and serves as an important cargo and logistics point for the region.
