Luopetas are a fictional species native to the planet Xylos in the Andromeda galaxy. They are a silicon-based lifeform, characterized by their crystalline exoskeletons that shimmer with iridescent colors. Luopetas have a unique biological structure, lacking a conventional circulatory system. Instead, they absorb nutrients and energy directly from their environment through specialized pores in their exoskeletons. Their bodies are composed of interconnected hexagonal segments, allowing for a remarkable degree of flexibility and regeneration.

The Luopeta society is communal and highly telepathic. They communicate through a complex exchange of psionic energy, which allows for instantaneous and nuanced understanding among individuals.
