LokonEmpung

Lokon Empung is a volcano located on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is part of the larger Tompaluan volcano complex, which is situated in the Minahasa Peninsula. This stratovolcano stands at an elevation of 1,550 meters (5,085 feet) above sea level.

The volcano is characterized by its relatively recent eruptive activity. Lokon Empung has a crater at its summit, and occasional steam and gas emissions are observed, indicating ongoing geothermal activity.
