Logistisk

Logistisk is an adjective used in Swedish (and Norwegian) to denote things related to logistics—the planning, implementation, and control of the efficient flow and storage of goods, services, and information from origin to consumption. In business, public administration and military contexts, logistisk describes processes, systems and planning activities aimed at optimizing supply chains, distribution, warehousing and transport. Common compounds include logistisk planering (logistical planning), logistisk kedja or logistisk försörjningskedja (logistics chain) and logistisk stöd (logistical support).

In mathematics and statistics, logistisk refers to concepts in the logistic family, such as the logistisk funktion
