Loay is a municipality located in the province of Bohol in the Philippines. It is situated on the eastern coast of Bohol Island, approximately 36 kilometers (22 miles) from the provincial capital, Tagbilaran City. The municipality is bordered by the towns of Garcia Hernandez to the north, Alburquerque to the west, and Jagna to the south.
