Ljubljanas

Ljubljana is the capital and largest city of Slovenia, located in the central part of the country. Situated along the Ljubljanica River, it serves as the political, cultural, and economic hub of Slovenia. The city has a population of approximately 280,000 within its administrative boundaries, while the metropolitan area encompasses around 500,000 residents.

Ljubljana’s history dates back to Roman times, when it was known as *Laustanum*.
