Lindores
Lindores is a small village located in Fife, Scotland. It lies on the north bank of the River Tay, approximately 3 miles east of Newburgh. Historically, the area was known for its abbey, Lindores Abbey, which was founded in 1178 by David, Earl of Huntingdon. The abbey was a significant religious and cultural center for centuries before its decline and eventual ruin.
